Pilates Overview

Pilates at Mountain View Physical TherapyPilates techniques of exercise for fitness and rehabilitation are a modern form of the training regimen created over 75 years ago by J.H. Pilates. The current approach taught at Mountain View Physical Therapy is a form of neuro-muscular training which utilizes specialized equipment, based on the original designs of J.H. Our goal at Mountain View Physical Therapy is to enable our clients to improve and/or recover movement, skill and function using contemporary clinical techniques with principles of sports medicine, movement science and the mind/body principles taught by J.H. Pilates.
