Therapeutic Yoga

Therapeutic Yoga Classes are alignment oriented, using props and muscular energy to support each pose. For those new to yoga, Lillian will introduce you to yoga poses ensuring you are properly aligned to prevent injury. For those of you familiar to yoga, you will be lead safely into deeper expressions of each asana. The asana will be designed to benefit particular physical areas (such as lower back, feet, knees, shoulders, etc.) and how to move into them step by step. Another component of each class is the practice of moving the mind form distress to ease, to enhance health through breath work and meditation. You will leave each class feeling a greater range of motion, stronger and more confident with a more positive state of mind.
Yoga with Weights
Instructor: Melanie Penfield
Yoga with weights is a total body workout, designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. Free weights assist you in increasing your flexibility as you move through sun salutations and other yoga postures, enabling extra length and depth in each pose. This intense, but easy to follow program compliments your regular yoga practice, whilepushing your strength and flexibility to new heights.
Yoga Fusion

A combination of Power Vinyasa yoga and the 26 static postures of the traditional Hot Yoga class; 60 minutes.
